Ege Gursoy
I am a postdoctoral researcher at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse, France, where I am a member of the Gepetto team. I mainly work with Vincent Bonnet (LAAS, IPAL Singapore), Nicolas Mansard (LAAS, ANITI) and Joao Cavalcanti Santos (LIRMM, Université de Montpellier, France).
Previously, I worked at Université de Montpellier and LIRMM as a temporary assistant professor and researcher. I completed my PhD at Université de Montpellier, France, and Monash University, Australia, under the supervision of Andrea Cherubini (LS2N, École Centrale de Nantes, France) and Dana Kulić (Monash University). Prior to my PhD, I worked at LIRMM as a research engineer in robotics. My full CV, list of publications, and teachings are available.
My research focuses on manipulation, predictive control, robot perception, and learning methods for robotics. I am also interested in agricultural robotics, dual-arm control, out-of-distribution problems, certification and verification methods.
I organize Gepetto Science Meetings and coordinate invited speakers at LAAS.
